What happened to the Weeds character Alejandro?

 I thought Nancy, Doug, Andy, Sanjay and Alejandro and shit were all “on the team”. Alejandro was definitely going to be the muscle but all of the sudden he just disappeared. What happened? nobody seems to know this |
